Eat'n'Park Smiley Cookies

Post Posted: Thu Oct 28, 2010 3:27 pm

WARNING: Eat'n'Park's smiley face cookies are no longer safe for those with peanut allergies. They never were when decorated for Halloween because of the candycorn, but now the actual dough mix has a warning label. Since it just changed recently, if you ask at the restaurants if it is "safe", many will tell you "yes". When you or they double check though . . . there is that darn label Sad

My son is devistated, but I do have to give a bit of a kudos to the young manager at the Mentor, OH Eat'n'Park. Once we discovered the cookie wasn't safe, he offered my 3-year-old son some "safe" vanilla ice cream (at no cost) for his dessert. That went a long way to avoiding a MAJOR meltdown.
