We have kept our tickets priced lower this year, but are hopeful that you will bring along a pocketful of support! We will be having fun raffles and silent auction items! (This will be a great opportunity to fulfill your holiday shopping needs!)

We will be honoring remarkable individuals that have helped us along the way. As we learn to cope with food allergies, we appreciate the friendship that brings us all together.

You are one of the single most important reasons why Families With Food Allergies maintains its place in the community. Proceeds helps our mission that includes maintaining our small office, utilities including telephone service for call-ins seeking food allergy support, as well as fulfilling weekly requests for brochures and more. A message to you from President & Founder Laurel Anderson:

There are so many friends and professionals that have provided in-kind as well as monetary support. Thank you! We, in turn, also offer our support to other organizations whose mission matches our own such as:

We are providing a challenge to a local college to create food allergy awareness and a small scholarship in Hospitality Management so those students in the culinary arts become sensitive to the affects of consuming and coming into contact with food allergens.

We are providing a small amount of funds to a local research facility that specializes with caring for children for the strict purpose of lessening the symptoms and possibly finding a cure for severe reactions to food.

We are collaborating with a hospital to provide information to their patient research library and staffing a monthly information table with handouts and stopping visitors, medical professionals and patients in their tracks so that they learn that support could be found and we are welcoming.

We are collaborating with a grocery food chain store, food manufacturers, schools, daycare facilities and others to provide free lectures to their employees and families about coping with food allergies.

We are continuously seeking new Support Group members and a new group of friends and supporters we call our Heart of Friends of Families With Food Allergies.

We are seeking new Support Group leaders, expanding our reach into the community, providing information, coping services, and links with our new website: www.fwfa.net.

We seek your input! Please come to our event and bring your families and friends too! We need your support!
