 Families With Food Allergies is hosting the 3^rd Annual Spooky Ooky on Sunday, October, 18, 2009, at the University of Phoenix (Beachwood Campus).  Spooky Ooky is a safe and fun Halloween party for kids and teens with treats, games and prizes that are allergy friendly.  Spooky Ooky is back by popular demand as a safe Halloween party for children that suffer from food allergies. 

It keeps growing as we had over 100 attendees in 2008.

Spooky Ooky will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2009 at the University of Phoenix (Beachwood Campus) from 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM.  .00 for FWFA Members (Children 2 y.o. and under free).

Guest Speaker, Dr. Richard Lavi, M.D. - Allergist & Immunologist, will speak to parents while kids enjoy fun and games.

For those who wish to be part of this event, whether they have or know someone who has food allergies, or simply wish to support those who do.  The goals of this event are to raise awareness of food allergies in children, and to raise funds in support of research into food allergies.

The event also welcomes any volunteer support that may be offered – please contact Laurel Anderson by telephone or email if you can help.

Families With Food Allergies is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating an awareness of food allergies and the prevention of food allergy reactions. We support initiatives that will lessen the symptoms and possibly find a cure for severe reactions to the eight major food allergens.
